Hi, I’m Zoe — the founder of Solely Scented.

I’m a mum of three, and my family is at the heart of everything I do. One of my children has autism, which has inspired me to create a calm, comforting, and sensory-friendly home environment.

My journey began with a simple love for home fragrances. I’ve always believed that the right scent can transform a space and lift your mood. However, I often felt disappointed with the soy wax melts I was buying — the scent didn’t last, and they didn’t create the atmosphere I was looking for.

So, I decided to create my own.

From my kitchen at home, I started experimenting with different wax blends, determined to find something better. After lots of testing and research, I discovered the perfect combination: coconut wax and beeswax. Coconut wax offers a strong scent throw, while beeswax helps to hold and release fragrance for longer — together creating a long-lasting, high-quality melt at an affordable price.

After months of testing in my own home, I shared my wax melts with family and friends. Their feedback was amazing — they encouraged me to start selling so others could enjoy them too.

I opened my shop on Etsy, and the response from customers was incredible. Four years later, Solely Scented has grown into something I’m truly proud of.

Now, I’m excited to take the next step with my own website — www.solelyscented.co.uk — where I can continue to grow, expand my product range, and bring beautiful scents into even more homes.
